About Us

About Us

Culligan of Chico has been helping our community with water issues for over 40 years. We began in a small warehouse located off of Park Ave in Central Chico and have been growing ever since.

Locally owned and operated, the Culligan of Chico team is committed to improving people’s water and daily lives. Water is essential, and we are here to give you peace of mind that your family and kids have access to pure and safe drinking water. From new installations to repair or maintenance, we are here to help our community.

Where We Operate

Culligan of Chico serves Butte County, Glenn County, and Tehama County. We serve cities like Chico, Oroville, Red Bluff, Biggs, Hamilton City, and Glenn and towns like Greenwood, El Camino,  Berry Creek, Stirling City, and Elk Creek. We offer water softening, water filtration, salt delivery, drinking water solutions, Culligan water systems (see how those differ from regular reverse osmosis systems), and deionization to all Butte, Glenn, and Tehama county residents. If you live in those counties, call us to find out how we can help you.

TEAM

Clay Farrell

To be the best, you must learn from the best. Clay learned this lesson as a young man while playing baseball. Athletic as he was, he seemingly lacked the same level of ability as the star players. In his quest to improve, he decided he did not lack the talent or drive; the difference was training. He acquired the knowledge needed from engaging with those more successful than himself. This began a lifelong mission to seek insight and share his knowledge with others. As Clay grew in adulthood, he felt a calling to do more and became a high school football coach. With this, he could become the coach, teacher, and leader needed for the community’s youth.

Clay joined the Culligan team and brought his love of learning, sharing, and drive for success. Partnered with Culligan’s great products and devotion to helping people, he found a calling in life. Since then, Clay has helped thousands of people with their water.

William Bocast

In 2008, William began his career as a route delivery driver at Culligan of Chico. With hard work, dedication, and drive, he would advance through the company from service, installation, warehouse, and accounting. While working, William graduated with honors from California State University Chico with a degree in Ag. Business. Armed with this education and new job title of Operation Manager, he began the company’s transition to success. He created a new company culture and training programs to improve customer experience. In working with his Regional Technical Advisor, he was asked to join Culligan International’s Service Advisory Council, where he worked with Culligan International’s team of product design engineers to help develop the next generation of Culligan water treatment equipment. William enjoys sharing with others his passion and knowledge of water and water treatment.
